Poll - Who Has A/C?
« on: July 02, 2006 - 12:55:24 PM »

Summer is still a little way away for us down under but in the States shes in full flight!
In hot summer days stuck in traffic it's nice to have some cool air down near your feet.
Lucy came standard with A/C and she still has the factory setup today.

Does your Mopar have A/C? If you have more than 1 car please advise us how many you have with A/C.

Cheers,
Carl

I had factory a/c but a previous owner removed. This winter I will be posting questions on putting it back together with a sanden compressor.

Our Challenger had A/C from the factory, but when we did the resto, we opted to upgrade the system with a Vintage Air unit.

Mine did, but it isn't going on the 340...Maybe when the original engine eventually gets dropped back in, but I don't want that power-robber put back on.  Besides, we only have 3 months of decent weather up here... ::)

:clueless: I have a factory air conditioner in my convertible but I'm going to convert over to a sanders compressor too.  Tried recharging the system with some r12 two summers ago but it didn't take.  Going to go through the air conditioning box before I do my final conversion to the sanders.  So may be this winter I'll tear the dash out to do that.

I had it my challenger and 69 charger but that factory stuff weighs to much and all that weight over the front is no good so it came off years ago.
