:roflsmiley: And of course anyone would know that 440 air is much superior to any running on 220 or 110 especially when ya got about a 1000 more cfms to contribute to the air flow................turn that baby on high Mopar bud !  :clapping:  :woohoo:

Jim,

Even with the headers I have that have been Jet-Hot coated inside and out, my 440 turns into a blast furnace on the hiway. I shouldn't complain since the uncoated headers that were on there when I bought the car would give me a hot foot if I drove it a while. I swear, I thought my left tennis shoe was melted by the time I got it to Carlisle 4 years ago.  :22yikes:   :22yikes:  :22yikes:

What kind of headers ya got Mike, those are long dudes, our collectors are just slightly past the firewall, not under the front floor pannels ? But yes they do put off a lot of heat, but no AC for my Mopars please.

I must admit, it does look crowded under the hood. Some might say messy, but when it's a factory item and in most cases a rare item you'd be silly to remove it, especially in a numbers car. It's always a nice item to throw out when having conversations about what items your car may have: Power windows, brakes, steering, A/C, Tic/Tact/Toc....

The Cuda hasn't got A/C but did come with it. I have the factory setup in the shed.
I won't be installing it, non-numbers and the Cuda is more of my "play thing" do what I want to it etc

Lucy, well, I'm happy with how it looks.

My Challenger has factory air with R12 still in it that I rebuilt 5 years ago. My Cuda is a non AC car that I run with the windows down.

My R/T SE came non-A/C when new. That's understandable as it was sold new in Detroit...in the winter. No, the fuel pressure gauge in the cowl is not some little known Scat Pack option  :(

A real muscle car don't have no dang burn AC, no I don't ! what the ................... I tell ya this new age group has gone soft. I was going to click on the last selection but I wondered what puters had to do with it :roflsmiley:

The headers and Flowmasters do create a lot of heat but I rarely sit in traffic for long unless I criuse the beach.Good thing the old cars have air vents, something I wish the new cars still had.

Nope, just the windows.

Might have to install one like this.  (sorry if you saw this before!)

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
