I've put my alarm in, with the power trunk/hood releases. My dynamic torque converter should be here today i hope, super stock leafs and summit adj drag shocks need to go in. denso alternator swap...anddd thats about it for now.

I bought all my floors, trunk and frame connectors. As soon I get them welded in I will be getting it sandblasted, primered and paited!

I'm putting the final touches on the sandblasting cabinet. It's almost working how I want it - I did the rest of one of the gas tank braces and got very minimal dust leak. I'm also re-doing the holes for the arms so that they're a bit bigger, and added a lip to the inside edge to clamp the gloves onto. Now I just have to add another hole for an air inlet (with filter), plus a hole to hook a vacuum up to.

Once I get both braces done I'll be able to weld them to the trunk floor and get the rest of the floor welded in.    Let's hear it for progress!

Spent the spring cleaning up the rear underside ready to paint & install new gas tank, rebuilt the rear brakes, bought new shocks, & right now I have the front brakes off rebuilding them.     I am considering going ahead & pulling the front suspension to put on the Energy Susp. bushings etc. & then tackle  the rear suspension.

I wasn't going to talk about it but since you asked. I had a steering issue, too far left and not far enough right.  On June 17th we drove 70 miles to the Gratiot cruise and at 8pm as I was pulling out of a parking space, the too far left turn snagged my brake line and broke it.  Thank Ma Mopar for a dual brake line system.  Anyway, I pulled the steering gear out (3 hours) put in a used replacemtent (3 more hours) and I still had the issue.  It seems as though these boxes can get slip if whacked hard enough and I managed to get hold of TWO of them.  I pulled the second one out on Sunday after church (1.5 hours, hey I can still learn). Today I ordered a Firm Feel stage 2. I think I have enough experience now to get it in right and adjust the centerlink correctly.  I'm just a bit poorer now.

I'll be putting my denso alternator in tomorrow. Going from 50amp to a 90amp alt  . That outta keep up with my fans, headlights, stereo, ignition, with no problem

I heard my 540 alum hemi will be dyno'd no later than next week, only 5 months past the promised complete date 2/14/06.  Since waiting we have installed the Strange Dana 60 rear with Wilwood Disc Brakes.  Have Gear Vendors Overdrive to install behind the 4 speed, TTi headers, Be Cool radiator and other goodies. 

Hopefully will post the dyno sheet early next week - stay "TUNED"

The gas tank leaked the last time i filled up so i plan on replacing the tank and sending unit (the tank has already had one patch job according to original owner as well as the shop that patched it). Still needs three more 225/70/14 Radial T/A tires before i will even think of driving away from my driveway as one blew sitting in the drive. The remaining three tires are at least fifteen years old and i can see dryrot in-between the treads so im erring on the side of caution. Also the last time i tried to start it, smoke - the electrical kind for lack of a better description - came out from under the hood while it was turning over and it never did catch and run. I immediately turned the key off, popped the hood but definitely did not smell or see anything burning nor did i smell any fuel. About 5 seconds later another wisp of smoke came from the distributor area. Taking off the air breather, the carb was "wet" inside with a last few vapors curling up and out. I've had suggestions ranging from the starter relay because when i turned the key off it "caught" momentarily but did not crank, to vapor lock. She'd fired up fine three hours earlier, i left, and when i came back - issues.
