pro street questions!

hello all i have finally decided to do it! i am going to pro street my 70 barracuda, it is already tore apart that far so why not. were is the best place to get the parts needed, and also anybody who has done it what was the cost in parts to just back half the car? and it will be a street car maybe some drag on the weekend, so do i go the full back half or just move my leafs in enough to get clearence, i have seen both ways i want to run a 30? x 18? or so love the look! thanks for the help!

Chasis Engineering sells most everything you need to make a Pro Street.  The big question is, is your car a real Cuda?  If so, you may just want to relocate the springs and not hack it up too badly.  If it's a C or G code car, hack away - build it to your tastes. :burnout:

Man I love the prostreet look. Mabey just a set of mini tubs and the right stance you can get the look without having to back half the car. Are you gonna put a thousand horse power to it? if not you probly dont need the back halfing. Either way..good choice on the prostreet look     :2thumbs:

I wanted to do that to my challenger and I would say go for it, make it they way you like and if nobody likes it but you tuff sh&*.

You can buy the basic kit but need some seriuos welding and fab skills or find a good chassis shop to do the work.Then of course you need the shortened rear and all the suspension pieces.I`m thinking $3-5k minimun.

Man them are nice rides both F N Cuda and Old Schools, I cant wait to get to that stage with the big meats in the back    :woohoo:.....I hope  with a little more tuning to be able to move on to another part of the car mabey interior and back halfing it.

Theres nothing like pro-street.  Go for it, it will be a timely process but when your done its all worth it
