I guess now that I think about it . . . they actually have a couple names . . .

I call one "the hardtop" and the other "the convertible"    And I also call the hardtop "black b!tch" sometimes!   :grinyes:

Mine has (and has had) several. Like Challenger72RT, when I was in High School she was called the Millenium Falcon. That was a nickname that came mostly from my friends, and was mostly due to her penchant for ditching the big Imperial Police Cruisers.

Now I sometimes call her Valkyrie, sometimes Brunhilde, and more frequently Dulcinea.

I just call it "the old car" but my son has named it "Super Blue" because of the color.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Mine started as The Pink Panther, it soon got named "The Pimpmobile" by friends, now it's The Pimp Panther, but it sometimes still just goes by the name of The Pimpmobile.

Mine is the              Silver Bullit          from my CB handle in the '70s  :icon16: , added the extra T cause all the internet single t bullits are taken. I refer to her as The DODGE most of the time so people will know what I'm taking about.

I've been passively trying to think of a good name for the cuda for the past 3 years but nothing good is coming to mind.Normaly the names my family gives cars are not flattering.

'79 Aspen - "The puke hauler"
'79 Monte Carlo - "The brown torpedo" ,"Cheek bone express" (for the pronounced fender lines)
'69 Corronet - "Panzer tank"
Delta 88 - "Olds-mo-hummer"
'?? Ford LDT wagon - "Park narc cruiser" (former state park car)
...and many more along those line

This thread makes me think of the line from the Joe Dirt movie :
"I got a good name for this car ,how about Rusty?"
"Sh*t'll buff out"

"You like them spinnin' tires!!!"   :burnout:
"I flipped off a box of kittens once..." (Tycho on being evil)

This truck was my first vehicle. I bought it with the engine disassembled in the back. I pretty much taught myself about cars while making it run again...of course there was a massive learning curve, as I did one boo-boo after another. :clueless:
During this time, it became affectionately known as "The Heap".
I still own it & could never part with it.

The only other cars I've named were a 74 Pinto I had, just called "The Pimple", our Suburban...just called "Suburbus".
Then there was a K-car wagon that was given to us by my In-laws. That friggin' thing was not-so-affectionately named
"The TURDBOILER"! :swear:

I hated working on that car. There it is, sucking...umm...I mean sitting behind "The Big Green Chugger".
