Work completed week of 7/4/2006 ...
« on: July 05, 2006 - 10:01:11 AM »
Been I while since I was able to post some work pictures, but here is what I got done this week.  :)
I finished up repairing the rear drivers quarter by welding a new patch panel in the lower rear and one right behind the driver's door.  Then I tweaked the gaps of my doors, fenders, and hood.  After that, I started some body work by grinding my new welds, filling, and priming the trunk area and driver's side.  I finished up my work over the holiday by sanding about 3/4 of the car down with 150 grit.  This weekend I hope to start block sanding and get to 400 grit.

I really would like to shoot paint in about four weeks, but I have a big issue to over come.  Turns out that the paint shop where I have been getting my supplies has some structural issues and is closed till they can get the building fixed.  Not sure what happened, but it looks like someone ran a car or truck into the building.  Which doesn't suprise me with the country bar next door to it.  :drunk:
