I have been searching for these scoops for some time now.  They are very hard to find.  HARMS Auto, I think, says that they will be tooling reproductions and they will be ready, Eventually.  If you run across a stash and find more than you need let me know, happy to pay finders fee.

Are your cars original m46 code cars? Are they both on the registry? There is only like 18 on registry. They made around 400 cars this way. I have mine on the registry...

CH, your box is packed and gets shipped Tuesday....ALAN

My car is not an original M 46 optioned car.  Although that is what I look for everyday on the net and the papers.  I'll probably find one in the pea green color option or some hideous color.  What color is yours Moparal.

My M46 code 70 barracuda is FC7 inviolet. It's got a lot of good options too. 4 spd, 6 way seat, rallye dash, dual mirrors, sway bars, 355 sure grip, front rear speakers. The engine was a 318 and I didn't get it with the car. I have a 440 six pack built for the car now. I'm not going to make a cuda clone. I'm putting the car back together the way it came except for the engine and I am adding a sport hood or maybe a shaker. But leaning towards the sport hood.  The car is rust free and been stored in dry storage since 1975. 42k for miles. I am still assembling the car now. Maybe I can dig up a picture of it's progress. I just recently finished the grill, front pan and got the doors and fenders all adjusted. And put the headliner in. windows go in by mid January

   :drool:That is an awesome car.  Great everything with exception of original engine.  Since the original is gone the 440-6 is the next logical decision.  I would do the same and not clone the car.  I do agree with changing the hood but I would keep the original hood and make a shaker conversion with the original to keep it with the car.  What interior color option, probably black.  Man does that car have some great options or what!!!  :2thumbs::drool:

I honestly wish I could tell you which registry he is talking about.  I assume the trans am registry but I know there are several registries.  I havn't used one yet so I can't exactly direct me.  I will see if I can get Al on this.

We would love to see pics of your car. Does it still have the original holes for the side scoop?  Is it a barracuda or a gran coupe?  I would love to find a gran coupe with that option.   :picture: :picture: :picture: :picture: :picture:

M46rat on moparts has a registry for them I do believe. I go through Barry here on CC.C and also Cody. I think he's got a registery called the LA connection or something. Quite sure he/they may chime in :chatting:

I'm still looking for samples so we can make patterns, so far I've had a couple sets promised but nobody has come through.

Extra Extra, read all about it :chatting:

I got a PM tonight, and Scott Smith now has the M46 scoops sent over to him to start making molds for the repop M46 scoops :2thumbs:

WTG Vlad who had sent his scoops over to Scott. And thanks Scott for helping us out with an extremely difficult part to find for our Barracudas
