I installed the "Painless" kit.  Although it wasn't painless.

I have to admit though that I had never wired a car before and in about 4 months I did it.  I recreated original harness' with Molex connectors so I could unplug any harness to work on it.  This will test your patience but I made sure I did something every weekend, sometimes I broke something but in the end I got it all to work.

I used there generic 12 circuit harness, plenty for my Mopar.

Take care and sounds like enough guys here can help you out.  I know I used the forum for that (DC.com)

Take care
Michael
Love all Mopars especially B and E bodies.  Currently own a '69 Charger touting over 550hp reverse valve train manual shift with a 3:55 posi rear end, Y2 yellow and, YES it is my Daily Driver.
One day an E body will be setting next to her.

It appears the M&H harnesses have all the needed terminations/connectors which is great, but you have to buy individual harnesses thru YearOne (there is not a single all encompassing kit and you pay YearOne prices).  The other "kits" out there (such as Painless, Don Francis, etc) do not have the terminations and you have to splice in the originals.  Is this correct?  Also M&H indicates they do not supply any instructions and refer you to an original wiring diagram, yet the others indicate detailed instructions are included.  I'm going in circles iust deciding on what to buy   :-\  I do like the M&H harness with new terminations/connections.  Any other options.  Next task is to figure out all the harnesses that I will need.  :)

If you want to spend days and days and days (It will turn into weeks and weeks) on a do it yourself kit and when you are done you end up with all the weak links still in the car (old connectors, bulkheads etc.) then go for it.  Otherwise get the harness(es) you need from Year One and be done in a few hours, everything is new, modern and plug and play, also, if you ever need tech support, they are the best in the business.

Something worth reading.

Thirty plus years, and all the wiring is looking to be replaced even if the casing still looks good. The wire insulation has changed over the years and has improved greatly. Do your self a favor and buy complete replacement wiring harnesses and not a "Good Luck" kit. It sounds as though they are as good as any, but too much of a hassle to deal with.

Year One is what we used and can't rave enough about them. Close to original spec and excellent looms.

One of the best reproduction products available.
