It worked for me
« on: July 07, 2006 - 02:55:46 PM »
I remember seeing an article in old Hot Rod issues that ran regularly call "It worked for me"
It was about suggestions and tricks that make it easier to do mechanical chores.

For example: When you open a fresh can of paint, wrap a rubber band so that it grabs underneath the handles. Then, when you dip your brush, use the rubber band to scrape off the excess so that you don't use the edge of the can. That way, it seals up better and stays clean.

Pretty cool little tricks that make things easier are fun to know. Do you have any to share?

Painter taught me to poke a few holes in the valley the lid seals in & the excess paint runs back in the can. It works.
