The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I said this in the Carlisle board. This was GREAT!!!! I can't post pics as ALLLL Moderators were there this year, and are traveling back as we speak. YES!!! Ross showed up!!!  :worshippy GREAT weather. GREAT times!!!! It really isn't about the cars so much for me anymore. It's for meeting the people here. If you want to, I can get sentimental and kiss butt to everyone here that has helped me and meant sooooo much to me. It would take a REALLY long time though. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. We have some great people here. Till next year all of you!!!

I`ve tried to explain to my wife Carlisle is different b/c of the great people we hang out with   :iagree: it`s more about the people than the cars which is what makes it so much fun!

:clapping: CARLISLE 2006  :clapping: Well as MEK and Torred has said Carlisle is special for many ways but the first is the special people attending, and of course none are finer than c-c.c people. The reason you guys didn't get any pics or updates is that no one brought a lap top with them, nobody. But you will see a few pics shortly I'm sure.

You just cannot grasp the scope of the the Carlisle show, huge is not the correct term, and we were told this is the first year that the show totally sold out, in otherwords, there were no empty parking places on the grounds. There were a few harried hassels Saturday, but things calmed down and the general spirit of "Moparmenship" showed through, I guess there will always be a few arsecheeks showing up from time to time  :roflsmiley:

Plan to attend, you will not be dissappointed, I've been there before years back but the last four with c-c.c have been the best. Make plans and join us in 2007.  - Jim

You all realize that when one of the mods. see this thread, their mighty hand of power will move it to the Carlisle section don't ya ?  :roflsmiley:

Hey gang,

I have a bunch of pics to post but the site is telling me that it is full and cannot accept them. So you will have to be patient until the Mods get home and can square things again.  As for what White Satin said....Amen...what a show! and what a great group of people we have here...

I have a bunch of pics i tried posting last night and just now.. says upload folder is full.. sorry guys. I tried.

Well, I just drove down EARLY Sat morning for one day. walked from 8 am- 6PM and I am dead tired. Hopefully next year I can bring the fish. walked the swapmeet and found some needed clips, redone 71 rear view mirror for $50 and a shaker carb cable. I bought what i thought was 71 rocker trim.. but i think it's too long.

Anyways.. The only member i met was rev.. & i don't think she knew who I was.. since I asked for a t-shirt  and she had the xxl's in the room I think.

BEAUTIFUL cars every where you walk.. prices on the cars for sale were / are out of control... a totally rusted out 71 318 vert junkbox.. barely saveable. the guy wanted 39k..  :wow:

I think the reason there were no updates was because nobody had a laptop there this year.  I'm sorry i didn't get to meet everyone there, but i was helping a buddy run his booth in the swap meet area.  I did get all around the place, but it took me all 3 days to do it.

I'm surprised there aren't too many updates here.  Last year we had Troy from over at D-C.com doing some late night write-ups and I was running the "photo addiction" threads through my laptop.  It must be an action-packed show this year! :2thumbs:
Sorry, new job means no laptop for the show. We were having a blast though. (Well, I was mostly marveling at Pennsylvania's roadside scenery in the dark because I'm geographically challenged but that's another story.)
