How long have you owned your car?

I got my current Cuda in the winter of 1988 (and had two other Cuda's before this one). I've owned Cuda's all of my driving life (21 years).

I bought my Dart in Nov 2004 on    Then in Feb 2005 we started taking it apart to fix it up (not really a resto).   

Then in Feb 2005 I bought my 70 FJ5 green Duster.  I haven't done anything to it except buy buckets seats, console, a hood, deck lid, fender top turn signals, an extra set of taillights and other misc parts including a 73 Duster parts car for the disc brakes and 8 1/4.   

Then in Feb 2006 I bought my 73 Cuda.    I have bought a few parts here and there and now I really only need a grill and bucket seats with tracks.  Then I will have all I need when I get to the point of starting on it.

A friend of mine was the original owner of my Deep Burnt Orange 70 Cuda 340. In 1974 he had an engine problem and I traded him for a '67 Coupe DeVille that I got for nothing from an uncle. He drove the Caddy for about 3 years then junked it and I've been driving the Cuda ever since! The car is now undergoing a rotisserie restoration. Hope to get the shell back in a month and then it's time to start opening the Year One boxes...

I bought mine in may of 1982 as an early High school Graduation gift to me  Ionly had to pay  $150.00 for it with a Blown Rear End , Damn i'd love to find another for that Price

i have had the chally since february this year.

traded my chevy 1958 belair with my neigbor (spelling?) to get the chally.

This is no "feel sorry for me" story, but a divorce some 30+ years ago caused me to sell two Mopars and also brought a considerable financial set back (she walked off with over $30,000 in cash), but I finally got things back in order and in October of 1998 bought my 1970 Charger project (almost my dream car) and since then I have aquired three others of which whitesatinmopar is one. Life is good, Mopars are great, and I guess the above experience is why I will NEVER SELL ANOTHER MOPAR MUSCLE CAR, like my dear wife it's "death do us part" ! ! Now, just where is that special 1971 A bod?

  There was that 71 Duster convertible at Carlisle that was shortened to the point of having NO doors. Didn't that interest you for $12,500???

Bought my 70 440-6 shaker Cuda in 1985 and my 71 383 Cuda convertible in 1989. I actually had car/hotrod money before I got married  hmmm.

I bought my 1970 Challenger SE, in August 1983 paid $2500, in Spokane, WA.
I had the car home and was showing it to my friends when they pointed out to me that it was an SE, which I had no clue at the time what that meant.  All I knew was I loved the car and it was mine.

February '91.  Since then, we've been thru 5 women, 2 apartments, 3 houses and been up for sale 4 times...and she still just won't leave my side.
