Cruise night picture
« on: July 10, 2006 - 04:03:44 PM »
They have a big annual 3 day event in Waukegan Illinois called Scoop the Loop.  Not many Mopars there but an interesting variety of vehicles in the constant parade of lowriders, ghetto cruisers, ricers, musclecars and jacked up 4x4's.  I did see one great Ebody I had never seen before, It had just started to sprinkle and I caught this V-code Challenger just as it was pulling away.

By the way I brightened up your avatar pic, and shrunk it if you want to use it
If it's too big, or small to use let me know, but it should be cool

They look more bad@ss at night IMO :2thumbs:
I hope I'm not being too un-PC with my ghetto cruiser description but how else do you describe this one from the cruise?? :smilielol:

I'm still kicking myself for not getting any pictures of the cruisers there with the 3 foot high tire and wheel combos and Lambo style doors!
Actually the Scoop the Loop is the best cross section of the American passion for automobiles I have ever attended.  Every variety of cars you have ever seen all driving around in an ungoing parade, like old guys in Model A's, lowriders, Escalades with $5000 bling wheels, good old boys with jacked up pickups with rebel flags and General Lee horns.  Groups of bikers with their Harleys parked along the route cheering at each musclecar to light em up and every lowrider to "bounce".  Everyone getting along and having a good time!
