4C,

I am still considering my custom stripe idea but I still have plenty of time before I get to that point (plus, I know someone in the sign biz...lol).  My car originally had the luggage rack option on the trunk which I plan to reinstall so I have to see how it all comes together. Hey, I just might like it exactly the way it came from the factory.

I would say do the stripe! Billboards look great but a good custom stripe is always 1 of a kind.

Rev,

Nothing major to report yet. I am still tying up some loose ends and just waiting for my mechanic to have a free day to get me back in. He is being so meticulous about how everything is going back in that I didn't want to rush him for the sake of my testosterone-induced excitement to hurry up and fire her up.

Plus, since talking to your husband at Carlisle about the whole FBO ignition and carb situation on your Chally I decided to change my plans a bit on the carburetor.  My mechanic thought it would just be a headache I didn't need down the road so we went back to a stock fuel pump and Edelbrock Performer 650 carb. He said if I wasn't racing it to keep it simple like back in the 70's.  So it has just been scurring around getting everything that I need to finish up. Hopefully this week.

Anyone in the market for a Barry Grant Street Demon 650 new in box and some AN braided fuel lines and fittings?
