New members since Carlisle
« on: July 11, 2006 - 08:38:49 AM »
I would be curious to know how many new members joined from C-C.com's presence at Carlisle.  Does it jump quite a bit after a big show like that? I did see quite a few people stop in an inquire about us.

The last couple of years, we have had a good turnaround on new members after Carlisle.  Last year we gave out business cards with the cc.com info . . . I've noticed a couple already!

I wish I had remembered to make up our cards!  I know I handed out just about all I had left from last year.  I know we've had some new members already.

I left the cards I had left from last year that Rev. had given me at home, so I had to ask her for a couple to give out, one to a guy with a 70 Chally 340 6 pack vert. with a shaker hood (hood not orginal), he drove in from St. Louis, Mo. by himself. He saw us at the Somerset Plazza when we met up with 4C, and when he got to the show field he looked us up, nice guy, I hope he checks us out, I feel he'd make a good positive member, his car is pretty sweet too.  :roflsmiley:

That's Bill Mabrey from St. Louis.  Had his car since '83 and drives to most shows. Yes, he has a nice Red '70 vert.  Did you know that he has over 500,000 miles on that car?
