Goodmark Industries challenger fenders
« on: July 11, 2006 - 07:17:22 PM »
I just got word that the challenger fenders now have a date of Oct 2006. Here is info copied directly from their website:
100 - Front Fenders
2120-100-70L / R  1970-71 Challenger, LH / RH Truck Freight $ 599.95 ea - Due October, 2006!
2120-100-72L / R  1972-74 Challenger, LH / RH Truck Freight $ 599.95 ea - Due October, 2006!
Any one got a set of 72-74 Challenger fenders for sale? I am getting tired of waiting. it seems like every three months they move the date back. :drama:

I was told by a guy from Goodmark that the latest fender wasn't the quality that they were looking for. I told him that I did not want a perfect fender because I have a great bodyman for that. :stomp:
My order consist of two fenders, a rally hood, a new trunk lid, a front valance, and a cutout rear valance but I guess they don't want that kind of cash. I am fed up with Goodmark or should the be called Goodluck. A great bunch of guys to deal with until they get a couple of thousand bucks and then its hard to get them to answer e-mails much less get them to talk on the phone.

Response from year one:

Hi,
I am sorry for the delay.  Our purchasing department checked with the vendor.  Currently we are looking at sometime this fall.  Unfortunately we are at the vendor’s mercy on this one.  We have our order in and as soon as they are released we will ship them out to you.  If this timing is too long for you, we can cancel the order and refund your credit card.  Please advise how you would like for me to handle this for you.

Again, I am sorry for the delay.

Well I can understand your aggravation.  However, you have to ask yourself would I want to wait for a really good product or will I and the rest of the people in the hobby be happy with garbage.  I'd rather wait, but then again I have no need right now so it is easy for me to say that.  Perhaps if I really needed it and was put off time and time again I'd be upset and likely to look elsewhere if I could.
Once rumor of 69 Charger fenders pops up and it keeps getting put off, ask me how I feel about waiting then  :swear: :stomp: .

I kind of like late sixties Camaros, but everyone owns one.

How exactly do E-body fenders attach to the cars?
