My Challenger is Sublime!
« on: July 15, 2006 - 02:50:18 PM »
We are nearing the end of the resto project. The body was just painted! Looks like 2 more weeks and I'll have my Challenger home!

There is a full accounting of the resto project here (start to finish). The pics are large so they load slooooowly
CLick pics on the main page to see more info and pics for that stage of the project.

Looks SUPER!

Is that a stock 383 you're putting in? What mods, if any? How well did it do on the dyno?

The 383 is almost stock. It's not the original engine but it is a '70 from with a date code 2 months prior to the cars manufacture date. The engine is .030 over, heads have been ported, the cam CompCamcs is one notch up from stock, TTI 1-3/4 ceramic coated headers, MOPAR high -rize manifold and an Edlebrock 750 CFM carb.   :burnout:

OOPS I forgot the dyno info.  :-[ After about 2 hours of running we did a pull to 5,000 rpm and saw 360 HP.
