I have used a D/A sander as a polisher for years but usually had to make do with whatever I could find locally to use as a polishing pad. I was working on my dad's '98 black S500, which still has great paint just a lot of carwash scratches, when my old pad gave up so I went in search of and made a real find. Oreily Auto parts carries a three terrycloth + backing pad set for about $5.00. to fit the 6" polishers they carry.
