That's cool, I also have a Burnt Orange SE.  With lots of options including the rear luggage rack and rear window defogger (that is a wierd item, but it works).  Here's a picture of mine.

What happened to your small back window?

I love it when I see another '69 Charger.  That is way cool and you got the neighboring space. :2thumbs:

Michael
Love all Mopars especially B and E bodies.  Currently own a '69 Charger touting over 550hp reverse valve train manual shift with a 3:55 posi rear end, Y2 yellow and, YES it is my Daily Driver.
One day an E body will be setting next to her.

what happened to the small back window is the quesiton of the day.  If I knew I would tell you.  From what I have found out it is proper year glass in the car currently, but I have no broadcast sheet to find out.  There is no option that is listed on the Fender tag that could explain it, but it is there and so is the luggage rack.  If you have any idea on how to find out what happened to it I'd like to know.  Not to pirate this tread  :aarg: but there are questions about this particualar burnt orange challenger.

If the car has 29 as the 2nd and 3rd digits of the VIN, it should have the small back window.
If has 21 or 23, you do not have an SE car. Someone probably just added the badges. It looks like you have the SE tail panel trim but this was a seperate option as well and was also available on some lower line pkgs, like western sport special.

Tillie,
With a few minutes and a phillips screwdriver, the answer is there to find.

Take out the rear window interior trim and peel the headliner back from around the window. The SE rear window plug fit in the larger rear window opening and was held in with screws. So, look for the screw holes in the window channel. In 20 minutes or so you can know for sure.

T/Ake care,
Barry

I guess it is time for the screwdriver and camera to come out.  Very interesting Barry...

I will be curious to see if the holes are there.  :dunno:
