My-spacebar-broke-today-sorry. :crazy:
After-peeling-back-the-vinyl-top-which-obviously-had-ben-replaced-I-found-along-with-bondo-over-active-rust-and-major-rot-in-the-c-pillars-and-dutchman-panel..
itook-some-shots-it.What-do-you-think?
I'm-totalling-the-car-out-(see-sbc-brakes-thread)
I'llpursue-theotherstuff-later.

Yikes!!  :22yikes: I can't help sorry mate but that's the main reason I opted not to re-install a vinyl roof.  :eek7:

Mine-is-far-worse-than-yours.I-am-just-replacing-the-dutchman-panel-and-reskinning-the-roof-with-one-from-a-hardtop-car.Not-something-to-total-the-car-out-for-if-the-rest-is-good.I-learned-pretty-quickly-in-this-hobby-to-make-friends-with-the-MIG-welder. :bigsmile:

 :scared:  After seeing these pics I'm afraid to see what's under my vinyl roof!
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I had the same problem..not as bad but still rust around those areas.  I found a donor roof that was 99% rust free and did some metallic surgery :working:
