Cuda trunk latch
« on: July 18, 2006 - 01:18:51 PM »
On this 72 Cuda I'm restoring, for the trunk latch, I now have the cover plate, keylock, levers and rod. What does the part look like that goes into the latch release to make it turn?  I have the rod that has the 2 swinging levers on it but nothing to hook it to.  A pic would be help so I can make one. Does anyone have a spare?

Heres some pics, I hope you can make out what you need.  I guess it would be easier to see if it was apart. lol

Thanks, inot2old.
2 Questions.  What keeps that arm in the trunk latch slot?
In your picture, what is that other cable going the other way of the rod? A spring or something?

Thanks,
Rob
