As you can see in my avatar that I went all Edelbrock Performer RPM on the top end. Seald power pistons roller rockers, balanced within a half gram among other things and a 60 over bore. My carburator is a 750cfm Edelbrock performer and we squeak out 550 or so horsepower.
I now She is a 1969 Dodge Charger original 318 car but nicely cloned to an R/T.
New engine with 800 miles:
'69 casted block with an original '69 steel crank
60 over bore (needed to)
9.5:1 Compression runs great on pump
Edelbrock perforer RPM top end
Roller Rockers
High Volumne oil pump with windage tray and deep pan
Sealed Power Pistons
Balanced and blueprinted
ACE engines rebuilt this and we truly spared no expense on it. We guess well over 500 nearing 560hp
'Be Cool' radiator and dual fans that keep the temp well within range even here in Fresno
TTI Ceramic Headers and 2 1/2" TTI exhaust all the way back (Sounds and looks Great!)
New Front end:
Poly bushings throughout
new high performance sway bar
New steering gear from Flaming River
Rebuilt 727 Transmission (1800 miles on it) with a 2500 stall and converted to a reverse valve train manual shift (INCREDIBLE!) Rebuilt by one of the best muscle car, drag racing tranny shops in Sacramento.
New Mancini racing 3:55 Posi rear end in a 742 housing.
Have fun and don't be shy if you dont have a numbers matching car.
Take care
