Had a little Tonytime (fishntime) today
« on: July 23, 2006 - 04:27:44 PM »
After winning 3rd place at a local show and wanting more. I spent this afternoon polishing and repairing.
Painted the cop rims.
Added beauty rings.
Installed new shocks.
Buffed the whole car.
Painted & installed racing mirrors.

Next weekend:
Stereo
Carpet
New front seat covers

God, I love this! I haven't had a chance to play like this in 15 or so years!
Cant kill the mean and ugly. Only the good die young...I plan to be here a while!!

My fun playing, kind of, ended when I and my wife started a family 15 yrs ago, then trying to bring some crazy idea of a musclecar restoration business to life several times in the last 10 yrs, and now the shop leaves very little time for myself and family. So...I came up with Tony Time once a month to get away from all the usual detours. This month I get two Sundays in a row! :woohoo: Next month I may not be so lucky.

Just be glad your "Tonytime" was on a nice day. For my luck, it would have been in the middle of a hurricane.  :scared:  :scared:  :scared:

P.S.- Glad you had fun with the Chally.  :2thumbs:

The car and the wheels look great!

Good that you found time for yourself.  Helps to relieve daily stresses like work, wife, wife, .... :pullinghair:
