This would prob work really good for smaller items for surface corrosion even suspension parts.

That's amazing! Who woulda thunk it!

I wonder what a HOT-TANK would have done to that assembly?  It looked too far gone to mess with but that molasses trick is worth the $13 dollars to save it.

And if anybody does do this, I hope they treat the remnants as though it were toxic waste that needs to be taken to the proper way of disposing. Whatever way that may be.

2001.  Did the guy die before he got the piston out?

If it eats the rust, does it also eat the pan? What about the regular metal? Does it stop eating after the rust is gone?  Any chemists out there that can answer these questions?  I want to try it! Get me something RUSTY.  (besides our Mopar trunks)
