I have installed this cable and I can tell you, adjusting it to be just right is a breeze. Chirpping 2nd and 3rd gear. I never knew how good my trans was until I put this cable on. It never would chirp the tires when shifting and it shifted too soon. NOw I got it just right

Forgive my ignorance but the cable determines shift points? I thought it only determined kickdown point.

It determines both and basically is the life of the transmission. (hydraulic pressure rise also)

crude definition of 727 shift point = governor pressure > tp (kickdown) pressure
Bouchillon kit is tremendous time/labor saver if you deviate from stock kickdown. Couldn't be easier, good quality, great people to deal with.
