    I'm the same way Shelbydogg, If I can use a B body dana with a nice size tire and still have them nicely tucked into the wheel wells with my 15X8 rallye's I'll be happy!..lol.

    Do you know who sells those offset shackles?

    Mancini is one place but I know there are others

    I don't think 8 inch wheels are any problem getting them to fit inside the wheelwell easily

    You might loose some traction the lower you set the car

    The ones sold by mopar performance are only 3/4" move for the rear shackles. The front ones are extended 2" for use with super stock or A-body length springs. This is the reason that I made my own.  I think that I read somewhere that DR. DIFF sells the modified spring hangers but I don't know his website.  ANY HELP out there?

    Right, and that's what I have minus the SS springs but I think the A-body HD spring (with modifications) does give better traction then the longer E-body spring

    Well hopefully if I end up getting the rear end I will be able to source the proper shackles, I'd rather not try to fab something up...don't really have the tools to do so. I'm sure someone sells them, just have to do my research.

    So I was bored last year and found a Chrome Dana Cover at the NATS for $15.00. I wanted the looks of it on my 8-3/4 so I made a look-a-like Dana adapter.  The piece under the cover is carved out of foam and painted with texture paint.  When mounted it'll look just like a Dana from 10 feet away.

    I got the idea when my friend bought a chrome plastic cover for a 9" rearend and put it on his Challenger.  I wish they would make a Dana cover that did the same thing. It's only weighs 1 or 2 ounces , looks like chrome, is held on with silicone and looked expensive.

    Why did you give me Dr Diff's e-mail?  Does he make one? I know that he sells the modified hangers.
