Thanks April, very kind but I couldn't ask anyone do to anything for me. I really doubt I will see a single cent back from them. I'll keep you guys posted as to how it finally pans out. At this point he (Rick, owner of GVs) is talking to my main mechanic going through everything from the start. "Apparently" Rick asked us what parts we are using, I told Adam that the majority of our parts were from Year One. Rick said funny that because the Year One power tour car has the same kind or problems. We NOW think it's because the stock YO products can't handle the GVs "needs" so it's mucking everything up as they are being stretched to their limits, the distributor being the main cause we think. In a stock car like Lucy the distributor etc are fine but the GV system may need more output power so aftermarket dizzy's etc will be to be purchased.
This is the most promising news I've heard in months and months. Rick said he will write down everything they use and replace in the Year One built power tour car and get it running, then advise us what we need to change! I'm happier but still crap service and poor product, but, it may work in the end, just kicked and screamed to get it to work. It is very promising, however, I've had news like this before and of course it was a let down so fingers crossed and see how we go. Good news with the YO car over there is they now have a car to work on, basically like having mine - there.
Cheers,
Carl
