Hi Guys,

After working on OZCUDAS car I was trying to find time to work on my own 70 rt,
When my wife asked if it was ok if she could vist her dad.  :ylsuper:
Guess what that means!!! welding time :bananasmi :bananasmi
I fabricated a new gearbox cross member from 2.2mm flat steel.
Then removed the old cross member ,then welded in the new one, I also added
some guessts to give it some more strength,
Also while iwas there I made a new right hand fire wall patch panel, as you  can see in the pictures its a bit rusty as well.
Tomorrow I hope to weld in the right hand floor pan and the patch for the fire wall.
Every where you look there is more work to be done, I wish I could clone myself it would get done faster :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley:

Hi Guys,

Today I was able to spend about four hours on the car, :woo:

I sanded all of the rusty metal around and inside of the right hand rail and sealed it with a
rust coverter sealer,  then I sprayed some spray sealer on it all so no more rust can start.

I welded in the right hand floor pan and the fire wall patch panel.

Next is the right hand front rail :scared:

Hi guys,

I spent most of today making a new left hand front chassis rail and welding it in.

I then welded the new left and right inner front fenders in, and i decided to seam weld them as well to make it a little stronger.

Next is to weld the rear quarters on and the rear trunk filler panel,
The car is looking like a challenger again :woohoo:

I hope to be able to work on the car next weekend as well, I have to finish the car soon as
we are expecting our second child soon, when the baby is born I will do dought have no time to work on the challenger.

Hi Giys,

I spent most of today bolting the doors and guards on the car ,to get all the gaps right on the car before I welded the rear quarters on .

They make the car look like a challenger with them welded on.
Next is to weld the rear channel in where the trunk rubber goes.

Wont be long and it will be ready for 2 pack primer.
