The September Mopar Collector's guide has a small write up on them.  They stated that there is a dramatic difference in the brightness.  To me, that would be a great thing and have been considering it.

Doesn`t matter if how bright your lights are if some bonehead ain`t paying attention they`ll nail you anyway.

Too true!  We need to come up with a cure for them.  :pullinghair:

Sure wish they had pictures on their website on before and after or did they?

Besides if I make the conversion people will say "All is saw is some bright lights that flew by me!"

I was following a guy the other day in an old Dodge truck. He decided to turn. His tailights did not have much illumination and made it hard to see what his intentions were. I was glad I was a safe distance behind him. I phoned the supplier of the LED light system. They are not cheap ($279) but after my latest experience I think I might make the swap.

I sent an e-mail to them about the 72-74 Challenger as they don't have those years listed. I will post the answer when it comes.

Well I have the new LED lights in. I took a couple of pics with just one side done.
The first one is the Tail lights & brake lights and the second is the brake lights. The pictures as you can see were taken when it was very bright out. What a difference. The only problem is you have to take the tail panel. & valence off and loosen the bumper. INstallation after that was about 15 minutes.

I installed a set of the Hitech 71 Cuda taillight LED upgrades, and man, what a huge difference! I am totally loving them. Easy install too. Note that I am not associated with Hitech in any way, just a customer.
