Sounds stout. Are those numbers from Indy's dyno?

I'm glad to hear you got the motor from Speed-O-Motive.  I've been thinking of them for my motor.  How was the experience?  Did it cost what they said?  Was it ready when they said?  Thanks!

Joel,

Congrats on some major progress!  How long 'til she's in the car?  Wish I could afford a monster like that

Although i believe Speedomotive has great experience and magazine coverage I waited 5 1/2 months longer than promised for the engine.

There were no hidden costs - price started was price finished.

I think they should have offered some rebate due to the fact that my mechanic has stored my vehicle for 7 months and his inconvenience when I told him we would have the car out of his shop by the end of March.

Living in coastal MS is a danger due the hurricane season being now upon us and his insurance liability cannot cover the large number of cars at his shop.  PIA to add vehicle removal when you are preparing for potential hurricane strike - GOD forbid again.

That said - final payment overnighted on Monday - engine being prepped & crated - shipment is FREE - or included in engine build / purchase so hopefully next week will have pics for everyone.

THANX FOR THE COMPLIMENTS

I am sure I can work out something to help you with a place to keep your ride during hurricane season....    :smilielol:   :smilielol:    The Beast could use a Hemi partner in it's garage..      I'll take real good care of her,  I promise....    :burnout:   :burnout:   :burnout:   :burnout:   :burnout:   :burnout:   :cooldancing:

Of course you will obey the speed limit, right?  :roflsmiley:

You'll just get to the speed limit faster than anyone else!  :2thumbs:
