Crating is still underway - as usual - more delays.  Hoping for shipment out of CA by Friday - should be at the mechanix some time next week

Weight is the same as a small block engine (340). :ylsuper:
Ball park for an off the shelf carbureted alloy 540 would be around $30K.

I took it as maybe the 6.1 he was talking about?   :dunno:

The 5.7 is 56 lbs less than the 360, pretty impressive I thought.  The 6.1 shouldnt be much more than that. 
To pay someone to do everything for the 6.1 would probably be just under $20k I would guess.

Wasn't sure what he was talking about lol I thought it would be the 540 as it had all the specs and info needed to get a tech guy like him curious. :lol: I'm not sure on the cost but if you go to XV's site they'll have the exact prices complete sump to cleaner.
