Selling my 1970.5 Z28 clone to buy another 71 chally
« on: August 02, 2006 - 04:18:11 PM »
Some of you may like z28's (cloned from a 70 factory fourspeed 307 sportscoupe with the luxury interior package) as well as Trans Ams and since I have found a nice 71 chally again (I'm totalling my 71 ( the car will be up for sale if anyone wants a cheap 71 chally project then going after the seller later) I need to sell  my camaro as well.
This car has a ton of goodies:
Suspension/brakes  brand new front end ball joints upperand lower control arm bushings(rubber) new tierod ends (from Esco springs and things)Global West 2 inch drop springs Bilstein schocks on all four corners T/A ws6 1 1/4 in front swaybar with energy susp bushings. Rear heavy duty performance multileaf springs. Z28 rear swaybar with ladders and poly bushes comp engineering traction bars. Comp engineering bolt on subframe connectors . Can you say cornering prowess? Wheels torque thrust 2's 17x8 front and 17x10 in the rear with new Sumitomo htrz z rated rubber 245/285. (planned on a goodridge for $275 since I 'm not running the weiand hi-rase manifold anymore. (you can have it)
Brand new OEM front and rear glass, and chrome reveal,

Interior: headliner cherry, woodgrain doorpanels cherry, Fresly reapolsted hi-lowback headrest seats, 150mph speedo and 8k tach (real Z28 items) carpet is good rear seat and palstics good, jvc chamelion deck, Needs a dash pad or cap $275 for a full pad. I just lived with it up to you.

I'm sure Im forgetting a few things. . I have oodles of reciepts and documentation for this car and this car is tougher, faster, and and cheaper than a z28 and the money in this car was well spent. Anyway I am asking $16,500 for best offer. Thanks!

it May have a salvage title but. I'll just just put the interested parties in touch with my insurance carrier. I am going to take some of of the goodies msd thorley headers and the re-apolstered seats and the gunslinger out of it (what's left that the seller didnt already strip) it should be too much money all said and done. See the body thread so you know what you are getting into. the only rust on the car is the sails and the dutchman panel. itll need to go on a jig to have the front clip pulled back into line. Wait a minute this thread is about my Z. haha

The car is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The only pics of the interior are before I put the freshly overed seats and cherry deluxe door panels in so they are not indicative of the cars interior. i will do my best to get some more shots this weekend. the car also has boston acoustics in the doors and polk audio 4x0s on the rear package tray it is wired for a sub and amp in the trunk if you like beat.

at long last I am al-----most finished with the car. It now has a fresh 71 fourbolt main 350 with kiethblack forged pistons Dart Sportsman 2 heads forged crank all internally balanced. pretty billet and aluminum dressup stuff. all that is left to to is the exahust and get my seat tracks back from the sand blaster and to install the recovered seats. I never did a dash pad but bought an OER guage bezel. Oh I did a front end rebuild kit with moog, mc-somthing ect OEM type components and a Trans-am ws6 1.25 inch front sway bar. I also did front subframe to body bushings. I'm looking for $15,000 or closest offer. Everything is really nice and no corners ccut on quality of compnents. Thanks
