Brake booster colour

Any one know what is the original colour for the brake booster for a 70 r/t challenger
Is it gold

all the E bodys were black to the best of my knowledge, not gold cad finish

my ebody. 73 chally, has the gold (zinc dichromate) finish and it is original

Everything is black.  Booster, master cylinder, bolts, lid and bail.

I agree, for '70 it was all painted black as an assembly, including the vaccuum fitting.

I am getting mine re done the guy said they paint all of them black he dosnt know any thing about e bodies mine is now gold dont know if it is original.
