2007 Calendar Entry Information (35 Qualified Submissions)

[Rev-It-Up]

The following are the eligibility requirements for C-C.com calendar submissions.

1.  You must be a member of C-C.com.
2.  You must have a post count of at least 100.
3.  The car must be either a Challenger or a Barracuda (e or a body)
4.  You must own the car that you are submitting.
5.  You must only submit one picture of one car.
6.  If your car was in last year's calendar, you must submit a NEW picture.

Submission and Voting Process:

Obtain a good Picture:  When choosing or taking your picture, you must have a high resolution picture from the camera at least 2000 pixels wide (the bigger, the better). Consider things such as layout, lighting and background.  You want your car to stand out...using about 75% of the total picture.  The picture you submit for voting will be the one used in the calendar.

Submit Your Picture:   Submit only one picture. You must include your C-C.com name in the email along with make, model, year, and engine size of your car.  Send your picture to LL_Davis@hotmail.com no later than Wednesday, 08/30/06 midnight EST.  You will recieve an e-mail confirming your qualification and entry. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within 24 hours, please send a private message to Rev-It-Up.

Vote for 12 Pictures:  On Friday, 09/01/06, you will find a new poll where you will be able to vote for your top 12 cars.  This poll will remain active through Wednesday, 09/13/06 until just after midnight EST. The results will be available immediately after.

Are 2006 winners going to be considered again in '07?  I thought there was some conversation earlier about previous winners having to take a year off from the calendar...   Either way, I am cool with it......

Never thought of that before.  Since this is totally a member voted calendar, I don't see why not.  If people like it, they will vote for it...if they don't, they won't.  Just shoot the best darn picture possible with a great background, etc. to improve your chances.

Yes, there have been discussions in the past regarding having past winners being able to enter the following year.  Ross and I agreed that we should allow the photographs to speak for themselves.  Again, the voters are the ones choosing which pics get in the calendar, so if you are a person that believes last year's cars should not be allowed in this calendar, please vote accordingly.  If you had your car in last year's calendar, you must submit a new/different picture. 

I know this year's selection will be large and very difficult to make.  There are 3 1/2 weeks before the submission deadline so plenty of time for everyone to get out there and take some awesome pics.  I think this year we have a level playing field whereas last year we did it so quickly most people used pics they already had.   I can't wait to see all the pics!!  Send them to me!

I understand Pink Panther.  I'm not resubmitting either, but I believe their might be other winners from last year that might like to throw their new pics in the mix.  Should be a very interesting contest!

Maybe it's time again for someone to do another "How to Take Professional Quality Pictures" thread.  Any takers?

  sounds like a good idea to me (especially since I am in the "project" stage myself)

How about this folks??? I have currently 5 chally's at my shop in various states of restoration, Including my 70  that is about 90 percent of the way done.
I could do a photo that would have all 5, with my car being  in the front of the foto.
