my little garage!
« on: August 06, 2006 - 03:48:53 PM »
hello all, not sure where this should go, so move it if u must! i just finished working on my model car garage, it has a built car, one in the making, parts, tools etc. i built this using parts i gathered over many years, i don't have the money to by all the aftermarket stuff so i use what i have, sorry the pics are not perfect trying to get a real camera! but if u look close u can see a welder getting ready to weld on the old car,(i know its not a wire fed welder!)(car has real bondo!)  tools jack stands etc. on the table is a lap top, magazines, and even a small car model box. all the parts needed to finish the old car are laying around. hope u like it i sure had fun building it. i love models i have over 300 right now, plus my little girls(3-5) like to help me on models and my real car! thanks for looking!

That's awesome, I am truely impressed. I've been looking for 1/25 diorama stuff for just a couple of weeks now.  I doubt I could ever come up with anything that cool though!

Thats GREAT. I also build dioramas for my models. (see link in my signature). I still need to do a lot of detail work on the inside of my barn with pictures and baners like you have. Where did you get them from.  All the little detail work is fantastic. Love seeing it.

well thanks alot! the banners are stickers i have gotten from car manufacturers, the ones that go around the top are from an remote control car sticker pack,(nascar) they are 1/12 scale instead of 1/24-1/25 but work good for that stuff. i got them at the local hobby store in the rc section. some of the other stuff just came in old model junk boxes from the flea market! the little pics are from magazines that i found and cut out!

Wow!  Those look amazing!  It kind of makes you want to be small so you can walk around in there.  Fantastic job!
