:working: I used to live in NEW JERSEY and the rust over there was pretty bad on classic cars but being surrounded by the ocean is even worst or at least my car has never been taken care of. :22yikes: As far as how much work she needs it's preety bad but nothing a good MIG welder and some replacement sheetmetal can't handle; my phylosophy if it is not crushed into a giant metal block it can be fixed!!!

That door hinge frame is bit tricky to repair because there is separate frame (which is only spot welded into those upper layers of sheet metal) for the hinge behind three layers of sheet metal and all those layers are propably busted in your car too. My challenger looked about the same. If you are going to repair that try to get that actual door hinge frame welded into the backside metal so it stays put when you rip the busted layers of sheet metal from front of it. The actual frame is from much thicker metal and I would guess that it should be in decent condition. The salty air does very bad things to the pillars, hopefully yours are in decent condition. Mine had totally busted c pillars and a pillars were thin from some points but mainly ok.

Have fun with the body work  :2thumbs: and keep us posted for pics!

Ya she did need a new cowl and firewall. At the begining of the teardown I freaked out but after I sat down and figured out where to start it all starts to fall in place; it's always that first cut that is nerve racking. Well enough of the gab;  here are more updates... enjoy!!!
