Saw my first HP Charger!
« on: August 11, 2006 - 07:32:08 AM »
I was on my way home from work last night and noticed someone pulled over by a Police Officer.  I thought the car looked funny from a distance and sure enough it was a Kansas State Trooper using an all white Charger.  It was pretty stealthy because they had all the lights inside the car (no light bar) and the only thing, besides the flashing lights, that gave it a way was the shield on the sides.  Looked really cool!  :ylsuper:

I know  :useless:  but I didn't have a camera with me and wish I did.  :pullinghair:

I think you described it pretty well
I noticed Ford is ending production on the Crown Vic.  I wonder what the next great police car will be in the coming years

here in Ottawa, we started out with 2 Charger ghost cars, but the other day I saw one in full 'Cop' colours, light bar and all.

ford is ending production on the civilian crown victoria but they are continuing to produce the police interceptor which is the police version of the crown vic. In my opinion as a state trooper i believe the police interceptor is a POS. i could go on for a while about all the problems they have. but nobody wants to hear the  :blah: i cannot wait tell we get the new charger. they are faster and much cooler. i'm sure i will have one soon so watch out. :2thumbs:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Thank God. 15 freaking years is too long. These things ALL should be crushed. I actually snicker whenever I see one blow up in acton movies. "One Down!"  :grinyes:

The Charger is not a bad car at all but the use of the Charger name isn't fooling anybody. It's just a cheap marketing scam like the use of the Daytona and RT names.

Yep. I agree!

For around $30k (I think?)  it's a great car (If your have a family!)  You get the convenience of 4 doors, Hemi V8 power, RWD.  Just shoulda used a different name.
