Greetings from fellow newbie also from FINLAND
« on: August 14, 2006 - 01:39:13 PM »
Hello there all,

Bought my 70 Challenger the 1st of July, so I had it for about a month.
I've been a Challenger fan since I've been about 5 or 6 years old, and got
my first challenger, a blue matchbox challenger with white vinyl top :2thumbs: !

There is quite a bit to do on it before it's like I want it to
be, but for the moment I will just drive it and enjoy it.

I've checked this site out every now and then before also and it's a great site! I know I will have alot of help from this site and its members.

Here's a pic of my challenger :) :

Thank you!

It's no matching numbers, because it has a 360 in it a bite juiced up, haven't really found out much about it yet but i'm working on it.

Welcome to the forum Jek!  Nice find on the challenger.  If you have a fender tag, we can tell you what it started life as.

Glad you found us.

Wow Jek, that's a mean looking Challenger. I like it.

You know, I am amazed at how many E-bodies (or simply American muscle cars) have made their way to the Nordic region. Certainly disproportionate to the rest of Europe, especially considering population density.

Thanks!

We simply know a good car when we see one ;)

It's an automatic but with some valve , I think, removed. So its's a semi-automatic with a reversed shifter (can only shift step at the time) so it is like one of the first tiptronics .
The engine is a 360, don't know so much about it yet (haven't found the owner who built the engine yet) But i'm diggin in to the history of the car and the previous owners. Atleast it's not a standard 360, 1/4 mile 13.3s, 174km/h with normal street 275 tires.
