Is that photo altered?  Her hair is in front of the winshield header.  At least it looks that way to me :dunno:

Tom

It looks like some white shoepolish writing on the windshield to me.   :dunno:   Her hair looks kinda short and not long enough to get to the windshield.   :clueless:  I am sure we will get the scoop shortly...

What would you have shoe polish on there for?

When I first saw it I thought it was a dial in for the track......  :clueless:

Never knew that...... I've always thought it was bottle paint, but now you mention it makes more sense.
At least I was thinking the same thing just not what I would have called it.

You guys crack me up - there's no photoshop in the pic..only my car # and TO in shoe polish for Mopars at the Strip time only (TO) runs.

Mom is 84 years old and has lived with a lot of high horsepower creations by my brother and me, rock crawlers, beach 4x4s, a 75 mph jet boat, and more cars than I can recount. Best part of the pic is that's the street I grew up on, and until I pulled this burnout for the camera, had exercised restraint since 1969 (when I got my DL).

How'd i miss this?? That is a great photo   I used to take my Mom shopping when i had my A66 Challenger but never thought about doing a burnout while she was with me. My loss...maybe not 'cause i know the look i would've gotten from her :nono: Never were words necessary after "the look", lol.

I can't beleive that I didn't see this before. I love it. What color was your Mom's hair before she got in the car ??? I couldn't imagine doing that to my Mom. That picture should be on the Calendar for sure.

when i was 17 i had a 69 camaro, hugger orange with white z28 stripes and a 350/th350 combo plus manifolds and 40series flowmasters.
took my mom to get her hair done after she'd been in the hospital for a while.  she still had the feeding tube in her nose because she was supposed to go back a few days later when she could eat real food again and have it removed.  we're sitting at this intersection and the car's rumbling and being bright orange and she's like "why are all these people staring at me?"  i said "mom, look what you're riding in" and then she realized that no one was staring at her, but at the car.  i bet it'd have been twice as many people staring if i'd had the cuda that i'm building now.

i gotta say, that is the best burnout picture i have ever seen.  if you dont make that your avatar, i'd bet someone else will.
