Why I missed CC members at Nats
« on: August 17, 2006 - 06:53:58 PM »
Sorry I missed everyone at 4C'S car at noon on Sat. I have a good excuse. I went to look at these two cars 25 min from the track and didn't get back in time. I even rushed to 4C's car around five till 1:00 and all were gone. I was bummed. These cars were not at the track nor were they openly for sale. I was at the right place at the right time and couldn't resist. I now own both cars. If anyone asks, the Challenger is not for sale, but the Barracuda is. The third pics is on the cuda. It's a vaccum trunk release and it is original.

Both are 1970 Hamtramck cars too.....

Be sure to check inside the front seat backs ( both sides ) for extra broadcast sheets, you may find a sheet or three for other folk's cars?

The suspense is killing me........  :eek4:

I would of enjoyed meeting you at the Nats and talking. You have the best excuse I know buying a Barracuda and Challenger would of been better than meeting up with us. A friend that met up with us at the Nats ended up buying a local Challenger from Columbus while we were there on Saturday night. The guy brought the car to brice road. It was a yellow 73 Rallye 340 4-speed car with original sheet metal and only having a few rust bubbles on the bottom of the quarter panels. I'm suppose to go out next weekend with my buddy and pick the car up for our friend. It is a 7 hour drive so we may stay the night and come back the next day. I'll take some pictures and post them when we pick the Challenger up.

2009 Challenger RT Classic B5 Blue
