I couldnt beleive it. its been rotting for a while, and i asked what he wanted for it. this kid hasnt even learned to shave! lol i offered if some money (vary good some) but he refused saying "he will  restore it someday". has anyone else had some bad experiences like that? like to hear the stories!

I know of a 68, red, 383, 4speed Super Bee. 72 340, 4speed Challenger, and 2 69 chargers (1 r/t) sit in a lot. Guy that owns them is some rich guys son that just lets them sit there. I'd kill for the Bee.  :crying:

Yip, Justin got his at 15, I myself at 20 and there are many others on this board who are young.
The age has no effect, young or old really has nothing to do with it just a mind set that young = dumb.

It's sad he won't sell it but at least the age on this matter is a good sign. At 15 he has a lot of years left to actually do something with it where-as if a 60+ year old guy came out then odds are he would never get around to it.

It's someones car and we know nothing about this guy. Who knows, maybe he is going to restore it and has only had it for a few months.....money maybe tight. I'm sure we all love finding them but we also need to respect there property & opinions.

The ones taht think they will restore it someday don't realize the cost to do it now. Buy the time they get around to it it is too far gone. I nhave a baker's dozen of hooror stories like taht. Only the lucky ones get the deals ( like Cody LOL)

That definitely sucks!  If he does want to restore it, the least he could do is find a place to store it from the elements...My '73 may be sitting for a bit while I finish up college, but at least it's sitting in a dry facility and has great protection around it...I bought my first car at 14 ('69 rust-bucket Charger) and even then had it under a roof.) :sly:
