Kansas Barracuda lover
« on: August 23, 2006 - 11:13:12 AM »
:working: Ya I'm new, I've had my 1972 Barracuda for about 5 years and am just now starting to restore it to as close to original as possible. It's Gold Metalic with a black vinyl hard top with the 318, low miles with medium rust. Will be alot of work and "MONEY" :money: but am looking forward to bringing it back to life. Well enjoy to talk to everyone as I go.

:2thumbs: I did the same thing with my challenger.  Drove it until the 318 engine started smoking.  Then parked it for three years while I bought parts for it.  Then had the body gone through and put it back together.  The moment I got the car started and drove it down the street I realized I'd forgotten over the past four years I wasn't driving it what a joy it was to take cruising.  My car was pretty much a junker for the first four years but now it is slowly becoming a cruising classic.  Welcome!!!  :woohoo:
