    XV Challenger on Cover of Popular Hot Rodding!

    I just got my hands on a copy of the latest issue of Popular Hot Rodding and the XV Motorsports 70 Challenger made the cover with a seven page feature article on the car and what we are doing. 

    I’m really psyched how the article turned out and especially how impressed PHR was with what we’ve done. 

    Best part to me is the quote they highlighted from Johnny Hunkins, the editor of the magazine:

    “When Chrysler builds the new Challenger in 2008, they’d be well-served to look this car over carefully.  The ride and handling on this is better than anything Chrysler’s doing now.”

    I was pretty blown away when I first read that. 
    Well we really tried to take it to a different level. 
    I’m really happy people are recognizing just how far we’ve pushed the envelope.

     :2thumbs: Dqhemi,thanks for the article,makes me think about my suspension,priced some of this stuff before and its noy cheap,but to have that suspension would be awesome,maybe down the road after i get my 71 chally rolling.  :ylsuper:  dave

    I got my PHR in the mail a couple days ago and was very excited to see the XV Motorsport's '70 on the cover!!!  Congratulations on making the cover shot as well as the very nice write-up about the car and all the work you guys put into making it. :2thumbs: :clapping: :cheers:  The car looked great close-up at the Nats!!! (I liked the styling cues better than the G-force 'Cuda because it's less dramatic in the overall appearance of the car.) :thumbsup:

    BIG Congrats to you guys!  :2thumbs:  :woohoo:  :woo:

    I just picked up that copy on Monday myself! Gorgeous car, and awesome work. I've been looking into everything you guys are doing and I must say, I am very impressed with the results.

    Just hope that some day quality like that will come for the A-body Barracuda! Front and rear new suspension would be awesome... Even better if it made it easier to put a big block in it! (hint hint!)

    Anyway, keep on the good work!  You're a major asset to the Mopar Community, and we can only wish/hope for more companies like you guys who really care about what they do.

    I forgot to add, I had the chance to meet the guys from XV Motorsports at Ohio Nationals.  I wanted to start off by saying these guys are awesome.  My father (who loves to keep his cars stock as possible) and I talk to two guys from there for at least a hr just shooting the breeze.  My father is an engineer at Chrysler and when we were sitting there and having these new front and rear suspension's explained he was blown away about the testing and geometry these guys did.  Me?  I was just in heaven looking at a race car that is insanely nice, but what I was most impressed by is how down to earth these guys are.  Before that I walked over to the Year One tent and was checking out the '69 Road Runner convertible asking about it and got a negative vibe from those fellas.  These guys from XV were real chill which was cool.  I would recommend if anyone lives around NYC they actually have their showroom around the Hudson river and I will be making the trip there for my break from school (SUNY Albany) to check this showroom out.  Again guys congradulations and good luck with future sales.

    I just got it a few days ago. Good article. When does the Mopar Action article come out? I've been looking for it everywhere.
