Thanks for the compliments everybody. It's been a lot of hard work. I just want to get this thing done so bad.
The sad news is, is that it's not going to be ready for Carlisle. I've come up a couple weeks short.
Even if it's completely together before Carlisle I won't have time to drive it and work out any issues.
I know from previous restorations, there are always bugs to work out and tweaking.
I'll probably drive my '71 340 Duster to the show.

That's a great looking car! Did you bolt the tranny to the engine before you dropped it in? ... I didn't know you could do that...

Good for you, MoparMan. From earlier posts you've been waiting a long time for this one to be finished and it certainly looks well worth the wait. Thanks for sharing your Banana Challenger Resto with the rest of us. Any chance of a small video clip when she's self - motivated ?

Thanks again for the compliments..

Wow (LOL).  Lots of questions!!

1) Movie Clip: Yes. If I remember to do it.

2) Numbers Matching? No.  It is an original R/T but it was a 383 car. Since I didn't have the original engine I decided an upgrade to a 440 6-pak would nice. I'm going to use a 4bbl until I get the bugs worked out.
Banana Yellow is the original color. Basically, the car is restored as original (including the interior) except for the engine.

3) Did I bolt the tranny to the engine before install?
Yes. That's the way I like to do my engine installs because it's easier than trying to wrestle the trans underneath the car when you don't have a lift.

4) Trip to Chicago:  Nice try LB!  I've got plenty work to do yet.   See you in Carlisle!

;D Hey, sure good to see you post again Ed (Reflections), are you about finished with the pink Chally? Been wondering how you were doing? How's Tim doing? All recouped I assume.
