I wish i would have seen that when i bought my air gap,I'm sure summits is cheaper.I would Guess yes its the same private label intake since I am positive summit doesn't have their own casting plant and wouldn't want to risk a lawsuit with edelbrock if they weren't allowed to make it.

Skip summit if you want that intake, that intake is the same as the 'crosswind' that goes for cheaper new on ebay. If heard good/bad about the intakes, myself would spend the little more for a american made part. the summit is the same intake as the chinese one on ebay, if you go with that, you'll save a few more bucks on ebay. just my 2cents

hell here is a polished crosswind for $147 buy it now..same exact intake as the 'summit' brand.

the 2 pictures are deffinately not the same intake! the one listed as a summit appears to be set up for either LA or magnum engines. the edelbrock is most likely a better quality piece with more thought and engeneering behind it.

Good eyes!! You are correct.
The picture is probably not accurate.I have noticed that the picture they show for small block headers is a picture of big block headers.
I am going to order the Eddie since it is almost the same price since it is on sale right now.

are you saying the ebay crosswind and the summit arent the same? Or the eddie and summit arent the same? Also take note that the summit/crosswind intake has provisions already for plumbing the rear coolant passages at the head which i've heard isn't quite a bad idea.

i, personally would go with the eddie as well.
