Not quite my goal time wise, but closeeee. Goal is a 13.xxx with the 318, 3,600lbs, just how it is daily driven (yes, i find i never cap my exhaust ) and on slicks. Came up a hair short with a 14.0 tonight (previous best was 14.3). 5,200ft density altitude, which i guess if the moons aligned and the conditions were perfect corrects to a 13.0...so somewhere with decent air it should end up in the middle.  :2thumbs:

Went down a few times, but started having a fuel related issue, starvation to where it'd lean out and fall on its face at arond the 1,000ft mark. I'm pecking away at my e/t, with the weather only getting cooler it should only go faster. With a little better air and the fuel issue sorted it should be there. Fun night at the track, didnt break anything, and i didnt lose to anyone. Put about 120miles on the 'ol fish today, quite a few hard ones.

Sounds like fun to me to. I love drag racing.  I was saving a 72 barracuda to build another drag car, but got talked into selling it before I could get it built. Guess we'll just continue racing our 95 firebird for now. My mopar buddies give me a hard time for not having a mopar racecar.
Keep us informed on the progress.

Feels like its getting out of the hole much better than last time. I swapped my old, worn, original leaf springs (one complete with ahelper spring) and air shocks for some super stock springs and adj drag shocks. Feels much better. I have to tinker with the eddie carb a little more and see where it gets me. Needs a new fuel pump, alignment pulls to the left...there are a few things i gotta tinker with.  :2thumbs:

heres another pass. i had to kill it a few hundred feet from the stripe due to fuel starvation, coasted a 14.40

Two best reaction times were a .004 and a .006 on the pro tree  :jumping:
