Doin good with that 318!  Show em them mopar taillights I love it!  Get a good fuel pump or whatever the fuel problem is resolved and you'll be kickin ass with that 318, maybe get into the 13s.  It's good to see a young man have and enjoy a REAL car.

 thanks, little guy moves alright after many said it'd never live again after i broke it the first time.  :grinno: few valves smacked a few pistons, there was a pole on moparts saying like 70% said it will never be able to run hard again *knock on wood* its got about 30passes, 9months, and my heavy foot behind it. Little 318 is destined to turn a 13.  :grinyes:

going with a electric pump, 3/8" line, summit comp filter, etc, etc. Should feed the little guy more than enough.  :burnout: :2thumbs:

Heres the start of project 'keep it fed'

3/8" Sender
New Aluminum 3/8" Hard line from sender to motor
Jegs Compeition filter
Holley Blue Pump/Regulator
Plumbing the Eddie for dual feed.

All is about mocked up, up at the motor.  Have to bend up a interesting line from the regulator to the passenger side inlet to the carb.  :misbehaving:

Excuse my firewall/innerfenders/motor dirt/grime, its been a really hot summer and I havent cleaned under the hood since March.  :eek4:

Old setup

New setup, sorry for the bad lighting  :screwy:

Gotta mount the pump/filter and run the line this weekend.  :eek4: :dogpile:

September 15th is the next track outing.  :2thumbs:

Goody-man if you have any more height under the hood you should track down a taller filter, and at least go with a K&N, You should find a micro tick or two there!.

Wish i did have some more room, that flat hood I'm running is about a inch lower than say a rallye hood.  :banghead:

Hey Goody,
Just a thought: If you switch to manual steering, you will take a little load off the engine, plus lighten the front of the car by about 20 lbs.  I hear 13.9's calling you.  :woohoo:

If you are worried about hard steering, don't worry about it.  I switch to manual steering on my Challenger and the only time the steering is stiff is when the car is not moving.  Once the wheels start rolling, it is very easy to steer.

You could just disconnect the belt at the track as well. :2cents:
