1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

A little history on the first photo from  http://www.challengertaregistry.com/photos/vintage/chelsea1981lineup.jpg

It was taken at the Chelsea Proving Grounds in Michigan in 1981. It was the largest gathering of AARs and T/As ever, a record that was shattered last year at Carlisle with the AAR / T/A reunion. The Chelsea show was put on by SIAC (Special Interest Auto Club) it was the first club ever for AAR and T/A owners, it started up in 1978 and was started by Butch Swingle and Al Leggat. As SIAC grew, it started accepting cars other than AARs and T/As, and the SIAC shows grew into the Mopar Nationals but the club itself slowly faded away.

Count form Carlisle last year was;

T/As – 59 Total.  AARs – 41 total  - for a show count of 103.

We are hoping to shatter those numbers at the next reunion in 2010.  :bigsmile:
