Haven't had the time to go and take a calendar worthy picture, and all the ones I have saved on my computer are too small.  Work has been kicking my @$$ for the past couple of months, I haven't had time to do much of anything.

NZ had it right.  I'll let you know all the details after the calendars are printed.

Is it me or are we not allowed to see the vote totals this time around?  :dunno:

We weren't able to see last year.  Remember our big online party waiting for the unveiling?  :hyper: :hyper:  During the first voting cycle, I missed clicking on the "hide results" button, so for the first 24 hours everyone was able to see the results.  I think, that's what spurred this guy on to do what he did, because he didn't like how it was going.  So...we'll keep it under wraps until the end of the voting period which will be around 10pm on 9/13, EST.  I know, the end time on the poll shows 9/14...I'll need to adjust that.

Lots of great pics again.  But I thought it was decided last year that any cars that made the calender would not be eligible the following year.  or has my memory failed me once again lol. :dunno:

I think it was fine to resubmit same car again but for those of us who weren't here for last years voting maybe an asterisk next to last years cars would've been nice.  Just all the info would be nice.  No biggie though as the cars are all new to me anyways!

Tom  BTW cars are on grass all the time at shows... :roflsmiley:

For those of you who don't make  the calender, it is not personal....I wanted to vote for some but the car was too small in the pic, or poor reflection, etc. Nice job everyone.

I like the fact there are submissions by those who were on it last year, there's one in particular that looks much better in the photo than last year and very deserving to be on it again. Just my  :2cents: while we are talking about this, awesome entries, hard to choose, which ones do you leave out and which ones do you pick. They are all very deserving to be sure.  :2thumbs:

Last year I put too much thought into it.   :faint:

I tried to get a smattering of all the different cars and years to make the calendar diverse. 2 A-bodies, 2 '70s, 2 '71s, 2 '72s, custom....

This year I just went with gut instinct when I saw the picture.

I do love the work in progress pics though.  It really shows that these cars were made made with lots of blood, sweat, and tears.  :2thumbs:

I don't want to start any rumors but is it true that Rev works for the C.I.A. and the F.B.I. in her spare time ??
GREAT WORK on the removal of the BAD APPLE.
I have to agree that the cars are great this year and so many of them to chose from.

:smilielol: :smilielol:  I wish!! I just happened to check the voting results and then again 20 minutes later.  The amount of votes increased by way more than was "natural" and a new "leader" was now in front where before he was much lower in the standings.  From there, I tracked his IP address and discovered many users using the same IP address that had just registered that morning.  They all stayed on approximately 2 minutes and voted in the poll and exited.  One after the other.  We pieced together all of the bogus members and they all occured during that 20 minute time I just happened to check...basically I was catching him while he was doing it.

In all fairness, his excuse could be plausible.  All his friends at work were just helping him out. :dunno:  I just find it hard to believe that they would all just happen to log on at 2 minute intervals and stay online less than 1 minute.  Wouldn't they want to see their friend's competition in this contest?  Wouldn't they be a little unsure of how to navigate the forum to make an account, find the right thread and place a vote and get out...all under 60 seconds?

Oh well.  I think If I had the "hide results" button clicked, he never would have done it.   :misbehaving:
