Here is what I found at the Goodguys car show, here in KC.

The Fooooooose Hemi Challenger, in all its glory.



 

I was not impressed, looks like a Chebby guy made it.

Black engine compartment
Painted chrome and trim
The hand brake, WTH. 
Tilt wheel
The seats
Door panels, looks Cudaish??

I think this is one of his worst escapades into MoPar yet, and I like the guy too.

Am I being to harsh? I've seen the Sick Fish in person, and it's 100% better than this one.

Just my opinion, and no offense intended, but I hate when people put oversize wheels on a classic muscle car. Those cars were supposed to have a lot of rubber showing. That's why they came out with dog dish hubcaps; to make the tires look bigger.

I think it's a style (big wheels) that will look funny in 10 years. I hope it is sooner than later. IMO where already there.

As far as I can tell that green car has big wheels and tires?  I think the Foose car looks sharp, don't know about driving it with those tires.  Some thing like that green car 17's?  Anyways it's all about advertising anyways.

i was at the show today and i like foose but i also hate big wheels on musclecars.  the flyer called the foose car a 70 but we all know it's a 71... someone needs to proofread (i know i'm nitpicking but they printed thousands of them)

overall, the foose car made me wanna 

however that green challenger was nice looking.

I only like big wheels on these cars if there is a reason for it, such as big brakes for racing... So with that in mind, the biggest I would do is 17", that will clear 13" rotors with 6 piston calipers. Just my 2cents.

I have to agree, the foose design on a mopar just does not do mopar justice. I also agree that they missed it with the black engine bay, Just looked out of place.

Yes the car has some "unique" features - everyone has their opinion.  I think it is a little harsh since the car is one of our own E-BODIES.

We have certainly seen worse.  I can't have stock wheels due to the large Wilwood brakes so I have custom Newstalgia wheels.  I am converting over my stock steering column for a tilt wheel.  Comfort issue.  Yes I will not have the ability to have a RIMBLOW like I want but choices have to be made.

I still love stock cars especially when they are beautifully restored even better when a HOTTIE is behind the wheel.

I would disagree.  I've seen far worse, but I would say it's one of the poorest examples of Foose's work.  Surprising, since he always seems to bring out the best in an existing model.  I think you're dead-on about the wheels.  Too big. 17-18" max, IMO.  That allows the modern rubber without looking like clown wheels.

If that Challenger came into my possession I'd make an R/T clone or at least give it a respectable paint job.

done up in typical foose style. would be OK looking if it was a drof or yvehc.  id have to replace the wheels and give it  new paint  It's been overhauled alright

When I first saw it, I wanted to like it, really. But the more I looked, the more I felt like there was a whole lot going wrong.
