    I think this is one of his worst escapades into MoPar yet, and I like the guy too.

    Am I being to harsh? I've seen the Sick Fish in person, and it's 100% better than this one.


    Those are some of the reasons I like it, especially the hand brake, and the seats.  The tilt and painted trim, not so much.

    When I heard Foose was teaming up with Unique I was excited.   The Eleanors they build are AWESOME!  This thing is too Foosed Up.   :puke: Engine compartment looks like a dang Chevy and the colors do nothing for me.   :puke:  I like the custom billet rallyes but I'd rather see them in a 17 or 18.  Interior looks great except the Cuda door panels.  Anyone know ow much Unique is getting for these?  I know their Eleanors are around 150K and UP!

    Thanks to Plum6pak and MyMopar for the kind words. I know my Cuda isn't everyone's idea of what a 71 should be but I'm just trying to continue the path that the second owner took in making it what it is. Not trying to cut any corners and at first the paint turned me off a bit but I've grown to love it. In keeping with the older 'retro' look I've gathered a bunch of vintage Sun gauges and had them all redone and recalibrated to put on this car. Other than the paint/hood ( which is a big "other" ) the car basically has stock suspension and other stock qualities. Interior is leather but original pattern ( almost went with a tuck and roll job  :ylsuper: ). There is lots of chrome on this car but I think it needs it with the paint. I wanted to go with the slots like the picture of that Black 71 six pack car but couldn't find a set that had the correct backspacing for the Dana in this car. So the Keystones give it a 'period' correct look. If anyone knows of any slots that are chrome or highly polished with rear 4 1/2 " backspacing I'd be interested in knowing about them.

    Just telling it like I see it, I've always loved your setup and with that bad boy Hemi sittin between the shock towers, that just makes me  :drool: all the more.
    I love the Keystones on it too, considering those myself when I get mine ready for the highway.
    I went to high school in the late sixties. Maybe that's why I love your car so much.  :thumbsup:

    Yes it was, I bought it a year and half ago up in NY state. Car is originally from up that way. Do you have any information on this car at all ? Love to find out more about it. I need to call the second owners wife as they guy who started this Cuda this way passed away a few years back.

    A new paint job and new rims then i wouldent mind it at all, but i was not impressed of that Foose car but wouldent mind having it for free :bigsmile:

    Yes, Arrruzza 511 with Stage V heads and intake. 10 to 1 compression. Hooking a Keisler five speed to it and Dana with 4.10's. Your's built by John also ??

    Although assembled, balanced and blueprinted locally, John did heads, and spec'd cam, bottom end - everything else essentially. He was about 18 motors backlogged I think when I ordered, so I found my own block, and went from there. Mine's same setup except .030 over for 518. 10:1 works great, cam motion split pattern hydraulic probably in yours too.

    John's a great guy. I waited about 8-9 months for my motor. Gave me a chance to scrape the money up for it  :eek4: . Can't wait to get this car on the road.

    I jusst read in MCG mag that the Foose Challenger is going to be given away at the 2007 Goodguys PPG Nationals.  Prices for the cars starts at $189,000. :eek2:   If I won it, I would sell it & buy something else, like a Hemi car, or convertible.
